If you’re looking for something hot, quick, and fresh lunch or dinner option, look no further than Pie Five Pizza. Pie Five offers a number of made-to-order pizzas, ready in just five to six minutes. There are 10 standard options to choose from, or you can build your own. Choose from four crusts including a gluten free option, seven sauces, four cheeses, eight meats, and 16 veggie options … the combinations are endless.
Most times I’m a pepperoni guy, but at Pie Five, one of my favorites is the Pesto Chicken Alfredo. The pesto chicken comes with alfredo sauce, grilled chicken, awesome roasted tomatoes, caramelized onions, and basil drizzle. Eat in or take out, it’s always hot, quick, and fresh. You can also add a salad or grab a beer. It’s a nice alternative to the usual carryout pizza, and everyone can order what they want. Each pizza is a small personal pie with plenty of toppings to fill you up.
My two little food monsters love the kid’s pizza and it’s just the right size for them … not so filling they can’t insist on splitting one of the delicious dessert brownies.

A Pizza Wars showdown that you should look into is Pie Five vs. Topp’d pizza (locally owned near KU Med). I found the quality of the pizza at topp’d to be superior to Pie Five and they have a good craft beer selection there. Both restaurants tout 5 minute pizzas so would be a good comparison. Would love to read what you guys think.
