Burrito Bros is a locally owned lunch specialist within the RiverMarket at 407 Main St in the main marketplace strip. Burrito Bros is a locals favorite and the restaurant is always primed with nearby residents. Patrons also include a steady stream of families and downtown office workers. KCFoodGuys.com loves the River Market because each restaurant in the market has unique offerings but each venue has a common River Market look and feel.
Burrito Bros opened in 2008 and has been building a passionate fan base. Menu items include multiple variations of tex mex style fresh wraps and bowls. We always tell the truth at KCFoodGuys, com so I have to tell you that this is Chipolte, but with a Kansas City style River Market heart beat. Patrons will enjoy the low prices including the official cheapest lunch special in town that features two tacos, chips and a drink for under $8.00. Bonus, lunch includes free chips and salsa. Burrito Bros has several unique meat options including shrimp, portobello, breakfast, chorizo and spinach. Popular wrap and bowl selections include carnitas, chicken and steak. The menu also features a tamale plate and the no frills quesadilla is also a popular choice. Fresh rice and beans are added upon request and several different sauces are available for all tastes. Burrito Bros also has excellent guacamole.
Burrito Bros is cool place and staff is funky and friendly. You feel instantly welcomed as you enter the restaurant because they have a very authentic Kansas City atmosphere. These are very tasty and fresh plates that understandably appeals to a wide customer base. On my visits they always have a fresh produce roasting on the flat top, assumingly for salsa. Burrito Bros is a lunchtime staple that will always leave you satisfied and provides great value.
