2017 KC BBQ Bracket Round 1 Results

First we’ll discuss the results of our KCFG bracket and then below are the results of the People’s Choice bracket.  Both Brackets will crown a champion on April 3rd.

Our highlights for Round 1 are as follows:

• Q39 in a rout
• Roscoe’s in a close one
• Porky’s Blazin stop in if you’re in Grain Valley
• Brobeck’s ham salad rocks and their BBQ does too
• Smokey’s ran laps around Smokin Joe’s
• Billy Sims wasn’t open yet so Johnny’s moves on
• Filling Station in a close battle but the ribs gave them the win
• LCs we love the mop sauce and the monster smoker

• Joe’s killed it
• Winslow’s won its match on sides
• R&J  that’s all we can say
• Burnt End BBQ love the sauces
• Little BBQ Joint napkins down, we see Zarda going the way of KC Masterpiece
• Arthur we love you
• KC Baby Back Ribs your name says it all
• Gates is still servin up the goods

• Plowboys is making a name for itself
• Rosedale nips Woodyard by a rib
• BBs Lawnside came with better flavor
• Chops in the upset, making Smithville proud
• Hawg Jaw sandwiches are the bomb
• Smokin Guns better meat better sides
• The Stack brought their A game, Summit should become a steak house
• Jack Stack preparing to make a run

• S.L.A.P.s we love the ribs
• K&M came with enough to take out BlindBox
• Bare Bone’s Smokin following up last years performance
• RJ’s Bob-Be-Que in an OT squeaker, Mudhole should move up in next years seed
• Little Pig with a strong showing
• Danny Edward’s, we love the thick cut brisket
• Hayward’s Pit took it to the Pickle
• Char Bar served up a whole lot of awesomeness
